How To Handle Unexpected Breakouts

by Marketing MaskerAide |

Do you have a big presentation tomorrow and a blemish came up unexpectedly? Or do you have that one pimple you just can't stop touching? Don't worry, we've got you covered! We’ve got some great tips to quickly make that pimple disappear + how to prevent them from coming back!

  1. Keep skin balanced

Doing everything you can to prevent blemishes is the first step. Even if you have acne-prone or oily skin, you should still be using a moisturizer! Adding moisture back into your skin each time after you cleanse is a great practice to help keep your skin balanced and to avoid producing excess oil, that can result in clogged pores and acne.

2. Spotted acne patches

If a pimple does pop up unexpectedly, we have just the solution for you! Use our Spotted anti-blemish patches to stick directly onto the troubled spot for concentrated ingredients to absorb into skin. These patches are best worn at night so that you can wake up and reveal clear, blemish-free skin! Our Spotted acne patches will be on promotion all weekend long - get them at 30% off (sale starts on Friday).

3. Don’t touch it

It is in your best interest to not touch your blemishes! It will be a much simpler healing process if you do not irritate the area any further by touching or picking at it. That’s also why using our Spotted anti-blemish patches are so great! The patch will seal your blemish and cover it so that your hands steer clear of the healing process.

4. Exfoliate often

Our Marketing Manager, Mikayla, has struggled with oily/acne-prone skin, and her advice is to use a gentle exfoliator! Exfoliating will help increase cell turnover and flush away impurities. This is another great preventative method for acne!

We hope that you find these tips helpful. If you have found anything else that works for blemishes, be sure to share your remedies and insights in the comments below!
