We're always working BTS (#behindthescenes) with pro make-up artists to prep models and artists for the runway or shoots, and the past few months we've had the opportunity to prep the skin of the hottest male artists on the music charts right now!
Thanks to one of our fave make-up artists, Toronto-based MILA VICTORIA, MaskerAide has made it's way onto the faces of Toronto's own Majid Jordan and The Weekend in their latest projects. Although a full-face of make-up is not needed, great looking skin is SUPER important, even for men. Mila uses our sheet masks and eye gels to quickly prep the artist's skin, to instantly BOOST hydration, DE-PUFF eyes, and give an overall #skinonfleek ready-for-camera face beat. With a primed, hydrated face, she can then use minimal base make-up to get these guys groomed and ready for the spotlight.

Our Director of Creative + Marketing, Karen, got a chance to sit with both Majid + Jordan and chat about male skincare, grooming and stuff in general. The east-end Toronto set was a very relaxed vibe, and both guys were down-to-earth and super passionate about their art and music. Keeping on top of your skin routine while on the road touring, and all those late nights' in the studio can be tough sometimes - but with MaskerAide we hope we can help with our travel friendly products! And in the words of Majid: "I need a hundred of these eye gels."
